Dr. Cameron Hall – Westminster Chiropractor
I am originally from West Virginia so I am a mountain boy. I grew up in the ski industry and that is where I first encountered chiropractic. As a Senior Ski Patroller, I was on my skies for up to 10 hours a day. We had a chiropractor there on staff and without his help and treatment, I would have been retired much earlier from skiing. After my first adjustment with my knees I went from being able to spend only 2-3 hours on the slopes to a full 8-hour shift. It was amazing. My original degree is in genetics, but it wasn’t long before I found out that I wasn’t cut out for microscopes and small sterile rooms.
My path eventually lead me to chiropractic and I haven’t looked back since. What turned me on to the path of chiropractic was the different point of view Doctors of Chiropractic have. We look at the body as a single functioning unit. Your body is an amazing machine and if something is altered in its structure there will be far-reaching side effects. Not only pain, but altered biomechanics which can cause joint degeneration and arthritis.
By looking at your bodies biomechanics, Doctors of Chiropractic can identify areas that will be prone to injury, degeneration and early arthritis. Correcting altered biomechanics will help to prevent these issues. Doctors of Chiropractic can also identify areas of your nervous system that are under stress and pressure. Any alteration in your bodies boney alignment will cause pressure to be applied to the nervous system. Over time this pressure can lead to nerve damage and decreased function of whatever those impinged nerves innervate. Realigning the proper bony segments will relieve that pressure and allow those nerves to function properly.
This is why I chose to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. To work with your body in a safe, effective, and efficient method of treatment that not only prevents future medical issues but also gives you real time benefits. I chose Colorado because I love the mountains and I love to ski. Chiropractic allows me to pursue my passions and to also keep my own body at its peak performance so I can enjoy my passions like they were meant to be.
